The COVID-19 pandemic has affected 212 countries worldwide and has prompted the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to launch the Quick Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) Initiative in April 2020 to develop rapid, accurate COVID-19 testing and make it widely available.

The RADx Underserved People (RADx-UP) initiative is a component of this effort that aims to address the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on racial and ethnic minorities and other vulnerable populations.

This study proposed data mining techniques to predict COVID-19 test results using supervised machine learning algorithms.
